Multi Level Marketing Business Success: Zelda's Solid Gold Nuggets!
Most of the time, when you speak with top mlm leaders, they will give you nuggets for ongoing success. These tid-bits of information are what helped those network marketers succeed, but remember, what might have worked for them may not work for you! Some of the nuggets you may hear are: You need to find your "WHY"... You need to make a dreamboard... You need to read motivational books and listen to audio books... You need to make a list... You need to go to meetings... You need to bring guests to the meeting... All of these things may help you succeed, but you need much more to achieve multi level marketing business success in today's world! Most people know what their WHY is. Most know WHY they want to set our own work hours, and WHY they want to make more money... this is usually a given. If you've felt the least bit compelled to check out work from home companies, then it is safe to say that you would like to change something in your life. I say, a dream board is a fine, if you don't spend all your time making one. In your travels, as you build your business, ditch the dream board and tear out a magazine page every now and then of something that you've always dreamed of and write a motivational quote on the bottom, and hang in on the fridge. That should get ya going! A Here's my nugget though... All the reading in the world won't change your life... To change your life, you need action on the things you have read! "Meetings are motivational."... I received a gold-nugget-e-mail that informed me of this! The biggest problem I have with this nugget, is that some multi level marketing business people are professional meeting goers! Meetings only help if you bring people to them. All of the people at the meeting are already in the MLM company! Sometimes a meeting is needed to get insight to new ideas and tools and also to pump you up a little. But, if you spend all your time going to meetings, you will sacrafice precious time to build your business! My nugget... A meeting can be motivational if you need a boost, or you have someone that is interested in going with you. BUT, if you don't have a prospect, than don't bother going to a meeting. You would do better to spend your time on an activity that will bring in some moolah! Answer some e-mails, ship out some orders, or contact that person that had a question about your business! Now, that's time well spent! Another famous little nugget: I was once told that forgoing a meeting can be fatal to the growth of your online network marketing business or work from home company! My answer... The only fatality to the growth of your business is if you quit doing the things that bring in money! You need to sell products or services, and you need to train others to build a solid team! If you do not do these 2 things, you really have no business. Zelda-ism #8
