Work from home online opportunity

by Brooke
(Florida)

My name is Brooke and I am a single parent who was looking for an opportunity to work from home so I could spend more time with my toddler. I had done an unbelieve amount of searching online and, as you know, anytime you want information on anything, you have to enter all your email info. So, I was (and still am) constantly receiving info on work at home opportunities. I found a website that would send you a list of assembly items that you can do at home and mail in for money. I thought it sounded legit since there was a money back guarantee and paid the $30 or so for access to their website. There was indeed a list of assembly items to choose from that sounded so easy to do. I sent out for the kit to make bookmarks. Sounds easy right? I mean how hard could it be to make a bookmark? It cost around $50 for the kit and shipping. When I received the kit, it was nothing like I had imagined. I had weave these 6 foot pieces of thread into a perfectly symmetrical lanyard type thing that was just impossible for me to do. Yes, I could have requested a refund, but they would only refunded a portion of the money and only for the unused portion of the kit and would not pay for the return shipping. So, needless to say, it wasn't worth trying to send back for the $5 I would possibly get back. But I thought, okay, that was one bad experience, I have a whole list of things to choose from, so I picked something else. I sent out for a kit to glue together felt travel gameboards. Again, it sounded fairly simple from the description. I was able to assemble a few, which you have to submit for approval. But again, they were a lot harder to assemble than I thought and when I sent them in for approval, they kept sending them back to me saying something was wrong with them here or there. Just an absolute hassel! With the money spent on shipping and extra materials, because they only send you so much material to do your samples with, it ended up costing me more money and I never made a dime. I've given up on the whole assembly at home before I waste more money on any items that will never be approved as they will never meet up to there standards.
